Take Finsbury Park out of Haringey Council's hands

It’s time to take Finsbury Park out of the hands of Haringey Council.

They mismanage it. They don’t value it as public space. They don’t care about the concerns of the local community which uses it.

Therefore, we propose:
1. That Finsbury Park is taken out of the hands of Haringey Council and given to an independent community trust, with neighbourhood and political representation from all areas surrounding the park.
2. A moratorium on all large events until proper public consultation can happen.
3. A local referendum to confirm any decisions made on the structure of how the Park is run.

It’s time Haringey knew the strength of feeling about issues surrounding the Park. We can deliver a better space that works for everyone, but not whilst Haringey stand in our way. Join us in our fight to make that better park a reality, and please sign our petition.

We call on Haringey Council to hand control of Finsbury Park to an independent community trust
