Extract from Cabinet paper, para 9.2:
It is proposed that the following centres are closed as children’s centres. This will mean they are de-designated and both the Department for Education (DfE) and Ofsted would be notified. They will no longer recorded as children’s centres by Ofsted and the Department for Education (DfE).

Extract from Cabinet report:
Centres that are no longer retained as designated children’s centres could, along with other sites in each children’s centre planning area, act as community access points, providing access into wider children’s centres services. Services will be coordinated by a designated children’s centre and may be delivered by a partner agency, community partner or parents themselves.
