Consultation on Zebra Crossing on Palace Gates Road sent

I am very pleased to confirm that Haringey Council have recently launched a consultation on a proposal for a zebra crossing on Palace Gates Road, near the junction with Bedford Road.

This is something I have been pushing the council for after several residents on the road raised it to me, and I am thrilled that your and my requests have resulted in action.

It is great news for people in the area, and we're now in touching distance of having this zebra crossing installed. The proposals would provide a much-needed safe point to cross the road to get to / from the railway station, and it has been one of my priorities as your ward councillor to get in place.

I'd like to say a big thank you to any residents who also raised this issue with the council directly - and to ask anyone who supports the zebra crossing proposals at this location to fill out the council's consultation, which runs until 14th August. It will only happen with the support of local residents.
