Lib Dem Cllrs tell Royal Mail to consult customers on plans to close Muswell Hill delivery office

Lib Dem councillors for Haringey have gone straight to the top in a fight to protect the Royal Mail delivery office in Muswell Hill.

Ten local Lib Dem councillors, led by Fortis Green councillor, Justin Hinchcliffe, have signed a letter to Royal Mail CEO Rico Black opposing the plans to close the delivery office, calling the move "bizarre"; and that it would be a "massive blow" to residents, businesses and local groups.

The letter highlights failings in the proposal and calls for the public to be consulted on the plans, not just Royal Mail staff.
