Petition to keep post offices in Crouch End and Muswell Hill is backed by hundreds of residents
Haringey Lib Dems have launched a petition to keep Crouch End and Muswell Hill post offices.
The post offices have been put forward for private franchises and if no franchisee is found to take them on, there is a danger the post offices could close.
Haringey Lib Dems’ petition calls on the Post Office to keep post offices in Muswell Hill & Crouch End. Keeping the same services they have now and with the same or better, opening hours. The petition went live last week and has already been signed by over 600 local people; with hundreds more signing paper copies of the petition.
The Liberal Democrat councillors are very keen to ensure that Haringey does not lose any post offices and that there is no loss of services. They are urging local residents to sign their petition and support their campaign. Residents can sign the petition here: http://bit.ly/KeepPostOffices
Cllr Gail Engert, Haringey Lib Dem Leader of the Opposition, comments:
“We are pushing the Post Office to ensure that we do not lose post offices in Muswell Hill and Crouch End, which provide very important services for local residents.
“Hundreds of local residents have already backed our petition and it is important that the community can express their concern as strongly as possible. Please sign our petition.”
