U-turn on planning application changes

HLD

We are pleased to inform you that Haringey Council have had a last-minute change of heart, and reconsidered their decision to stop sending planning application notices to local residents. Notification letters will continue to be posted out until further notice.

Thank you all for being so responsive to our email. This u-turn, as well as other recent successes - such as the rejection by planning for the Crescent Mews Development in Alexandra following opposition from your Haringey Lib Dem team and local residents - shows how individuals can hold the Council to account, and how vital a strong opposition here in Haringey is.

The fight continues against other council proposals that are being pushed through in spite of huge protest, such as the Haringey Development Vehicle, the sale of Hornsey Town Hall and proposed changes to our public libraries, to ensure Haringey Council is listening to its residents and delivering what is best for this wonderful borough.
