I am very pleased to confirm that Haringey Council have recently launched a consultation on a proposal for a zebra crossing on Palace Gates Road, near the junction with Bedford Road.
Consultations are due to begin on the reduction of speed limits on a number of Transport for London-owned roads around the borough. Local Lib Dems have been pushing for this for several years, and are pleased these consultations are going ahead.
An analysis from The Times has shown that Haringey is the 308th best performing council in England - out of 318.
Royal Free NHS Trust recorded 125 pest incidents over the past three years, according to data obtained by the Liberal Democrats after a Freedom of Information (FoI) request.

Last night (4th March), Labour voted through their planned 30% cut to Haringey’s libraries. The opposition Liberal Democrats presented a fully costed amendment to the budget which would have reversed these cuts entirely.
Haringey Lib Dems have relaunched a petition against charging for public tennis courts, after the Labour run council proposed introducing them. Together with residents, the Lib Dems forced a u-turn on similar proposals in late 2020.
Haringey Council has admitted that a 5G mast on Hornsey Cricket Club field, for which planning permission was refused, has been accidentally given the go ahead through council incompetence.
